“Breathless in Wonder Woman: Gal Gadot shares struggle with tight costume before fitness routine saved the day”

Gal Gadot had a tough time wearing her Wonder Woman costume for the first time, as she revealed in an interview with The Sun On Sunday. The actress, who is currently 32 years old, mentioned how tight the outfit was that it made it hard for her to breathe. In order to make things more comfortable, she hit the gym and worked on her physique. After trying on the suit again post-workout, she found that it fit much better and felt great.

During the initial fitting for her role as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, who was 35 at the time, found the costume to be too constricting. However, her attempt to make it roomier didn’t quite work out, as the costume department decided to make it even tighter. Eventually, she managed to persuade them to adjust it to her comfort level for filming. According to Gadot, she made it clear that she needed to be able to breathe properly while shooting the movie. After some modifications, she wore the new version of the costume throughout the 117-day shoot and found it to be much more comfortable. She even claimed that it felt like “pyjamas” and that she could sleep in it.

The lady shared her experience of trying on a costume which was too tight for her to breathe properly. However, she didn’t give up and went to the gym to work on her body. After some time, she tried wearing the costume again and felt much better as it now fit perfectly.

According to reports, the actress who plays Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice found her training for the role to be quite challenging. Although she considers herself to be sporty, the physical demands of the job were at a whole other level. She even confessed that, when she first began her training, she couldn’t even do one pull-up. Despite this, she persisted and managed to push herself through the training, proving that anything is possible if you are determined enough. Wonder Woman is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2017, and stars a talented cast including Robin Wright, Chris Pine, and David Thewlis.
