Lipa has made an incredible accomplishment by becoming part of a select group consisting of just six British female solo artists who have achieved four number one hits in their career.
Dua Lipa has added another feather to her cap as her song, “Dance The Night,” from the Barbie soundtrack, has topped the Official U.K. Singles Chart, marking her fourth number one hit. The track climbed to the top after being on the chart for 13 weeks, making Lipa the sixth British female solo artist to achieve this milestone. Her previous chart-toppers include “New Rules,” “One Kiss,” and “Cold Heart.” Alongside Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Lipa now shares this distinction. Jess Glynne and Girls Aloudโs Cheryl have more number ones than Lipa. Additionally, the chart shows that female artists currently dominate the top seven tracks and eight of the top ten.
