She’s making her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice later this month.
And Gal Gadot revealed on Tuesday to Ellen DeGeneres that she was totally uncool when she landed the role.
The 30-year-old told the talk show host that she screamed when she heard that she was cast as the iconic female superhero – even though she was on an aircraft at the time.

The actress explained that she had waited for two weeks after auditioning for the role with director Zack Snyder, who didn’t even tell her at first what she was testing for.
‘I didn’t know what I was auditioning for – they said it was super confidential’ explained the Israeli-beauty.
She told Ellen that when Zack finally filled her in, she had to pretend to play it cool.

‘Zack calls me saying: “I’m not sure if you have it in Israel but did you ever heardaout Wonder Woman?” Then I went dead for about five seconds…came back to life and I tried to pull of my coolest voice saying: “Wonder Woman? Yeah. I’ve heard of her.”‘
The Furious 7 star – who travels between Los Angeles and her home in Tel Aviv, Israel – refreshingly said that she showed her unbridled excitement when she finally got the news she had landed the part.
She told Ellen that she had been travelling when she found out: ‘The moment the plane landed I opened my phone and I had thirty missed calls from my agents….I called them when I was still sitting in my seat and they said: “You can’t say anything but you got the part” and I went “Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggh” and everyone looked at me and I couldn’t say anything.’

The brunette stunner – who told Glamour she had to put on 17lbs of muscle for the role – flaunted her toned physique during her appearance on the chat show.
She wore a figure-hugging white scoop neck top, which she teamed with palazzo pants which were in Superman red.

Askedaout how much her little one understands about her character, Gal explained: ‘I’m not sure how much of it she gets…she came to visit me on set many times and one time I was wearing the Wonder Woman costume and then she asked me: “Mummy, if you wear a tiara does that mean you are a Queen and then I am a Princess?”
‘And then I said: “Well it’s complicated…I’m playing dress-up”…she’s really into dress up and she’s really into Princesses.
‘One time I was telling her a story and then she said: “The Prince is always so brave and so courageous and strong,” and I asked her: “What about the Princesses?” – and she said: “Meh” and I said: “Why do you say that?” and she said: “They always fall asleep and then the Prince is the one to wake them up and they do nothing”…that made me feel really goodaout playing Wonder Woman.’
Gal – whose last name is pronounced ‘Gah-dote’ – has also landed her own solo Wonder Woman movie – which is due for release on June 23, 2017, but first will be seen on screen opposite Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman, released on March 25 this year.
