There’s buzz that Scarlett Johansson might be making a comeback as a different version of Black Widow in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. Additionally, she’s also said to be teaming up with Marvel for a fresh venture, this time as an executive producer.
According to reports, Scarlett Johansson, who portrayed Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2010 to 2021, is set to return to the franchise as a variant across the multiverse. GiantFreakinRobot claims that Johansson will appear as a different version of Black Widow in Avengers: Secret Wars.
No details have been released regarding the role Johansson will play in the movie, but there are speculations about her joining forces with other multiverse heroes or being an evil variant recruited by the Beyonder.
Her rumored appearance alongside Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine adds intrigue, and her return may strike emotional chords with best friend Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and sister Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. Johansson is also set to produce an untitled non-Black Widow Marvel film, according to Kevin Feige.
