No more gossip: Actress Scarlett Johansson, who has been nominated twice for an Academy Award, has put to rest an old rumor about her having had sexual relations with her Avengers: Infinity War co-star Benicio del Toro in an elevator.

During TheSkimm’s 9 to 5ish podcast episode airing on Tuesdays at 9pm EST, a former child star who is now 37 years old discussed the long-lasting rumor about an encounter in the elevator at the Chateau Marmont with Scarlett Johansson. The celebrity stated that while the rumor persisted for a considerable amount of time, they found it outrageous as they are afraid of getting caught doing something they shouldn’t be doing. The rumor supposedly originated from an Esquire interview in which the 55-year-old Oscar winner played coy about the incident, saying that he couldn’t confirm or deny it. He added that he thinks it might have happened before and may not be the last time it occurs.

According to Scarlett (pictured on March 16), she always thought that it would be challenging and unappealing to go through a very short period of time, as the logistics seemed difficult. Being someone who is afraid of getting caught doing something she’s not supposed to do, the story appeared even more ridiculous to her.

Scarlett Johansson expressed her delight at the warm reception her eco-conscious skincare company, The Outset, has received since its founding earlier this year with former beauty and fashion executive Kate Foster Lengyel. Johansson was pleasantly surprised by the transparency and welcoming nature of the industry, which she did not anticipate. She noted that the industry is respectful and non-cutthroat, contrary to her initial perception.

The content talks about a New Yorker who was pleasantly surprised to find the city transparent, welcoming, warm, and inviting. According to them, people in the city have a lot of respect for each other, and it’s not cutthroat as they had imagined it to be. A native New Yorker expressed their enthusiasm saying that the city was much more open and friendly than what they had initially anticipated. They found the people of the city to be respectful towards one another and thought that the city lacked a competitive edge that they had expected.
